Just now, william and i went back to NTUC esso to return our magnum ice creams that we bought on sat morning, after reading an article on straits times that some products are recall back due to the incident of the china dairy products. the following is cut out from the straits times website

THE two products found tainted with melamine are:
Yili Choice Dairy Fruit BarYogurt Flavoured Ice Confection
Dutch Lady strawberry flavoured milk
In addition, products from the following brands which are manufactured in China have been recalled:
Condensed milk: Black and White (from Hong Kong), Diamond
Liquid milk: Blancanube, Hotkid, Monmilk, Yili
Dairy cream: Gold Label, Topping Pride, Value Pride
Butter and ghee: Huo Guo Ye, Mu Ge, Phoon Huat
Milk candy: Milky Boy, Rabbit, The New Zealand Milk
Ice cream: Magnum, Meiji, Walls, Youcan

Before we spoke to the cashier, i went to check on the freezer whether they are still selling the magnums. To my surprise, they are still selling. So william started checking the back of the packing to see if it is made in china or which country was it produced from. We couldnt find it at all. Whatever they printed behind is rubbish, see no shit! However, william thinks we should tell them, getting any refund isnt the main issue but to clarify why are they still selling? Anyway they did do a refund for us. But i honestly cant tell which are the products from china. Terrible, i guess to play it safe is, NOT to eat them.

Today i had a starhub print ad job. This is quite tiring. It is 8+1 (makeup and hair) + 3 (OT)= 12 hours of work at Sentosa. 3 shots of various angles can take 12 hours of time. phew! One of the most tiring pose was to stand one feet on top of another like a catwalk and freeze! I couldnt balance properly so i needed someone to hold my other hand. I need to do 3 hairstyles. So much back comb and i think i dropped too much hair. Maybe at least 100 strands. The hair stylish keep complaining that my hair is too little, long and flat. I wanted to tell her that i lost too much after birth.
not sure what is this promotion all abt and too tired to find out. No chance to play with jessica today cos she was asleep b4 i left for work and slept again after im home. Hard work! kinda worry that i will turn bald....

Its day 3 at my new house. Im beginning to get used to a whole new place. The house is still in a mess cos we cant unpack most of the boxes due to the upcoming renovation, which we have to live with it. The 2nd level is empty and we had to squeezed everything into the 1st level. I cant wait for everything to be in place so we have a proper living area. But still this will take at least a month.

I took a stroll for lunch today and realised that this new house has ALOT of goodie food all over, i think i will grow FAT here. So mannyYYYYY things to eat. Unlike changi rise. Now i know why it made me hubby so happy of this new place. Jessica and i have been sick for quite a while and finally ive decided to bring the both of us to the doctor. Hopefully we will recover soon. Its been more than a week. Im too lazy for pictures nnow. Maybe when the house is ready i will take some. My favourite spot is the balcony with our spa. haha. William spent abt 2-3 hours cleaning it last night.

BINTAN -BANYAN TRIP

The entrance to our villa so sianz.. i was called up last thursday that i was shortlisted for a health promotion board print ad. They are deciding btw 3 girls and i am one of them, my agency asked if im choosen can i go for fittings on fri evening at 7pm which i cant cos i leaving spore to bintan, supposingly at 11am, which was changed to 2pm then 5pm at last. So. now it is tuesday already and the shoot is on thurs means my job has gone down the drain. $$$ fly away, how sad and disappointing, so near and yet so far. praying for the pantene's "big" job which i had already went for the casting. kinda moody when a job has flown away. Anyway, hope it is a blessing in disguise. Now i can understand those jobs that ive gotten and other gals are eliminated, feeling the same way as i am now. haha...

Regarding abt our bintan trip, it was nice and relaxing. the room is beautiful and we had our very own jacuzzi in the villa. We wont need to walk around the resort, all we need was a phone call to get a buggy to pick us up and send us wherever we want. William tot we were like paralyze in paradise?

1st day we arrived late, so we had in villa dining which means room service. lol. the food is delicious and the bread is fresh.

Im having my 2 weeks break from school. This is so relaxing. I can stay at home and spend even more time with Jessica. Looking forward to our banyan trip. It must be beautiful and even more relaxing. Yahoo. However, even though it is relaxing, i still have my school assignments. This month is very quiet. No much casting. The starhub casting was cancelled, so no hopes for that job. Later on, i have a casting for an event in september.See how it goes and if i can get the job. Life's been peaceful and consistent so i dont have much to share. Just gotten some of my test shoot's pictures back. Most of it cant make it, except for 1. So here it is

Hello im back again. havent gotten much time to update my blog eversince the communicasia. Shortly after the event, i left for genting highlands with jessica, my mom and super SITi ( the maid). I had fun during the trip and experienced driving towards and back to singapore. My mom wasnt able to drive the who journey due to "old age" haha so, let the young bird take over the wheels. Well, this trip, Jessica got to experienced some rides in the indoor amusement park. The took the ferris wheel, the boar ride, and some other rides that i dunno what its called. well, anyway, in case u might wanna know if i win any big bucks in the casino, the answer is NO! i tried the one of the monopoly jackpot machines and in less than 20 mins, ive lost RM 100. I didnt continue after that. Jessica love the hotel room and couldnt stop smiling and laughing.. The air is cool and i guess thats one of her reasons for being that happy. Jobs....not for the moment, i need to get back on track for some castings before i can get more jobs... i hope i can get a big one with $$$$$ wahaha... pray!pray! tomorrow i have a casting for a starhub printad... lets see..

School.... i started school again last week after 2 weeks of break, because ive done some of the modules that they've taught so i had 1/2 month holiday. After this friday, i, gonna have another 2 weeks.. cool! haha.. relax again. Currently im doing a module called "children's play" so we gotta think of ideas for children to have fun. we also need to learn the theories behind it, the pros and cons etc... I have some pics on what we have presented yday and im proud to share then with u, the "hard work" to be shown with the other pics that i will post in one go.

Started my on training for the biggest trade fair " COMMUNICASIA"on monday. Report at 2 and ended at 6. Yesterday n today is full day job and my feet hurts like hell. We were given pointed heels of about 3.5 inches and our working hours is 10-6. we do have breaks but not enough stil... OUCH. i cant wait for the next 2 days to pass. Im feeling very tired and i believe i will sleep much earlier tonight. exhausted by the pain in my feet...ZZZZZZZZZZZ, if anyone will to think our job is easy, what i can say is ure very wrong!.. wait till i have more energy, i will add in more info. seeya

Weather has been rather cooling for the past few days. This month has been rather quiet and no much castings as last month. Unfortunately, i didnt get the patene job. How sad. Ive been losing alot of hair. Now, i truely understood why some people would say that after birth can result in losing hair. It is really scary at the rate of dropping hair.

3 days ago i brought jessica for her second swim at our pool with sand on the ground. Daddy bought her a swim ring that i picked at toy"r"us. I was excited to let her try and finally we did it!

Hello everyone! i have been too busy with different castings, fittings and the audition for the singtel grid girls. The audition is quite similar to MSU ( miss spore). Contestants will need to wear bikini into the audition room to face the judges. I felt quite okay with it cos this isnt my 1st time and ive done shoots with bikini b4.

Yesterday, i had a shoot for some profile pics on the grid girl thingy. The whole thing took quite long. Lots of waiting time. however, ive also done a hair show that required alot of waiting too. From morning abt 7 to 10 at night. However, after much thoughts, ive decided not to go on with the competition, too much committments and what if i dun win and i cant always leave jessica alone with the maid, i will get worry about it. Futhermore, ive got some work in June too, when they need most of our june dates. too bad la!

Currently im looking forward to a "pantene" print ad job, to be used in China. Pretty good pay for a print ad. I love doing print ads cos it doesnt require NGs, and i can freeze my smile pretty well too.pray! pray! la, cos the production manager mentioned that my hair is a good length and came forward to touch it....

"just isnt the same anymore"

The above statement isnt related to what im gonna write. Today i just did a starhub ad. there are 4 different stories in that ad. My story is about a father and his group of friends watching tv that is in the baby cot when the baby isnt there. my role is the mother of that baby, who walks in with a crying baby showing a pissed face.
I was told that it was a full day shoot that takes up to 10 hours. fourtunately, it ended within about 4 hours including hair and make up time. I am very glad with the job. I was informed by a gal from the singtel grid hirl thingy to attend a briefing tonight, but i couldnt turn up, so i skipped on that. i asked her whats the briefing for, she said to take some measurements. So i asked her again, does that mean that i am shortlisted? she refused to answer and said i will be informed during the briefing. funny right?
Any she also asked me to take down some shooting dates and if im available otherwise, it will be useless too.. so lets see how it goes then...

So shiok, today is a public holiday and i can continue to slack but poor william has to go to work. Anyway, last night was scary. Jessica was crying non stop for about an hour and we have no idea what made her cry. We checked her tummy if theres wind, put some medicated oil too in case if it is tummy ache, but we just cant tell what went wrong. According to william, the same thing happened too when i was out doing a shoot. We brought her to KK, but ended up not seeing the doc cos the queue takes about an hour of waiting. The admin nurse wasnt very friendly, as she was handling the application, i told her we might just give it a miss cos the wait is too long. She slammed her keyboard. terrible! People who knows william might know his face when he reacted to her actions, he just cant be bothered n walk off.. haha...

Anyway, yday i went for the audition for grid girl. There were many girls and lots of "young" ones. The audition turned out to be what ive imagined and expected to be. It was like Miss singapore's, just that they have more judges. One of the judges, said "Andrea! you looked familiar!" omg! cos ive seen him too. next qns " which batch were u?" haha. He's also one of the judges from MSU. Geez i dunno man, i had fun and didnt shiver at all this time compared to 2 yrs ago. Maybe after all the training from modelling. Events, meeting people. Facing cameras is pretty easy. Now i knowwhy some contestants during the MSU competition are so relax, prob due to experience w modelling.

Anyway, ive gotten a tvc job on wednesday. Finally i managed to find out, it is for starhub. So catch it when its out la. Quite happy and excited about it cos it is my 1st proper local tvc. More to come.... HUAT ah....

so people have a nice monday today cos tmr will be another blue blue day..

Today is another relaxing day. I dont have anything much to do. No castings too. So i guess i can spend more time with the little girl. She is so tired after being out the whole of yesterday when her dad brought her to Sentosa with her grandparents and the maid while the mother is shopping away at Vivocity with her fren.
I think i made the right choice cos i get free aircon and its hot at Sentosa. Actually it isnt free cos i ended up shopping and e damage is i got some tops and a pair of ALDO shoes that r on offer. I tried to hide my shopping from William b4 he starts to nag. "Shopping, shopping ah"
To me, women just love to shop. (most women?) At vivo, u can claim parking for min $50 spent, for 1 point. I gotten 3 over points so u can see roughly how much ive spent. haha but im really happy abt it. NEAR NEAR, pls dun nag at me after my confession of my shopping spree. haha. Love ya, muckss
