Cant believe that Jessica can get so many bites over the last 2 weeks. Exactly a week ago, while she is waiting for us to prepare to leave the house, she was bitten by sandflies. 7 bites in total. We thought it was ok just apply some mopiko to reduce the itch. Who knows in the middle of the night she started complaining and couldnt sleep peacefully as the bites were all over. We had to bring her to East Shore to see a doc. She cried so loudly and struggling. She is pretty strong, makes it difficult to hold her down.

Yesterday afternoon, she was bitten by some insect at a market near my mom's place. As you can see her eye in the picture, It was infected. The best thing is we are leaving tomorrow for Chiangmai. The paediatrician says she cant fly........................

and im sure we cant get any refund. it was too last minute and we still need to pay for the hotel. We booked 2 rooms as my mom and my maid are coming along. I was so looking  forward to this trip. Honestly, i still want to go. I will feel stupid if i were to pay and not get anything in return. Oh my! i hope she gets better along the way. This may happen to anyone and i got it twice in my life during my childhood days. My sis 's daughter too, melanie. So im quite sure it isnt as bad as the doc said.  Total damage from all the insects was $500. 1 visit to East Shore, 1 visit to Mount Elizabeth and 1 to kinder clinic. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
